Mikes Chicken

Mikes chicken is a well-loved successful restaurant famous for their slogan “Its Crunch Time”. They needed to plan well to expand into the corporate catering world and succeed through COVID. UberEATS and food delivery was the only option. Before their initial opening they knew they needed to face the challenge of delivery. They couldn’t compromise the "crisp n crunch" they are so famous for- regular packaging just wouldn’t do!

Hammont created a state-of-the-art vented box exclusively for Mike's. We sat with designers and developers, brainstorming a box that allowed for optimal textures to be locked in by designing for airflow and moisture preservation. Mike's was extremely successful in the fried food space due in large part to their ability to deliver on the fresh delivery promise!

Hammont’s packaging gave Mike's their entire aesthetic, creating tremendous brand awareness. We even allowed them to expand their delivery radius, increasing sales exponentially!
